Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: September 30, 2024

These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to the Kahf Kids mobile application and website (collectively referred to as the "Platform").

By downloading, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. Please read and understand them carefully before using the Platform. Unauthorized copying, modification, or redistribution of the Platform or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. Any attempt to extract the source code, translate the Platform into other languages, or create derivative works is not permitted. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Platform remain the property of the Service Provider.

Modifications to the Platform

The Service Provider is committed to ensuring that the Platform is as beneficial and efficient as possible. As such, we reserve the right to modify, update, or charge for the services provided by the Platform at any time and for any reason. Any charges for the Platform or its services will be clearly communicated to you in advance.

Data Collection and Usage

The Platform stores and processes personal data that you provide to deliver its services. This includes data related to e-book purchases, course enrollments, product purchases, and other parenting services. For more information on how your data is handled, please review our Privacy Policy.

We also use third-party tools, such as Google Analytics, Meta Analytics, app analytics, and other similar services, to understand user behavior, improve the Platform, and run advertising campaigns. These tools may collect anonymized data such as device type, operating system, session duration, and usage patterns. By using the Platform, you consent to the use of these analytics tools. Details on data processing by these tools can be found in their respective privacy policies.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and access to the Platform. We strongly advise against "jailbreaking" or "rooting" your device, which refers to removing the software restrictions imposed by the device's operating system. Such actions may expose your device to security risks such as malware or viruses and could result in the Platform not functioning properly.

Internet and Network Access

Certain features of the Platform require an active internet connection, either through Wi-Fi or provided by your mobile network provider. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Platform does not function fully due to an absence of an internet connection or if you have exhausted your data plan allowance.

Mobile Data Usage

If you use the Platform outside of a Wi-Fi network, your mobile network provider's terms will still apply. This could result in data charges from your provider for using the Platform, including roaming charges if you use it outside of your home country or region. By using the Platform, you accept responsibility for any such charges. If you are not the bill payer for the device, we assume that you have received permission from the bill payer.

Responsibility for Device and Battery

You are responsible for ensuring that your device is charged and capable of running the Platform. If your device runs out of battery or malfunctions and prevents you from accessing the Platform, the Service Provider cannot be held responsible.

Video Content and Access

Free and Premium Content

The Platform offers two types of video content:

  • Free Content: Delivered via YouTube's iframe integration. The availability and functionality of this content depend on YouTube's service and policies. Users agree to comply with YouTube's Terms of Service when accessing this content.
  • Premium Content: Exclusive self-hosted videos accessible only through an active premium subscription. Users must ensure their subscription remains valid to access this content.

Use of Video Content

Premium video content is for personal use only. Unauthorized downloading, sharing, or redistribution of any video content (free or premium) is strictly prohibited. Violation of these terms may result in the suspension or termination of your account without notice.

Data and Internet Usage

Streaming video content, whether free or premium, requires an active internet connection. Data charges may apply based on your internet or mobile service provider. The Service Provider is not responsible for additional costs incurred during video streaming.

Purchases and Transactions

Payment Processing:

All transactions for e-books, courses, products, and other parenting services are processed securely through trusted third-party providers compliant with applicable financial regulations. The Service Provider does not store payment details.

Premium Subscriptions

Access to premium video content requires a subscription. Subscription fees are charged on a recurring basis as per the plan selected. You are responsible for managing your subscription, including cancellation, before the next billing cycle.

Refunds for unused subscription periods are subject to our Refund Policy. Please contact us at support@kahfkids.com for any refund-related queries.

Advertising and Analytics Tools

The Platform utilizes advertising and analytics tools, including but not limited to Google Analytics, Meta Analytics, and similar services, to run marketing campaigns, analyze user behavior, and improve services. These tools may use cookies, pixels, or other tracking technologies to collect data such as device identifiers, IP addresses, location data, and browsing behavior.

Consent to Data Collection:

By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of data by these tools as described in their respective privacy policies. You may opt-out of certain tracking and data collection features by adjusting your browser or device settings or by visiting the opt-out pages provided by these services.

Data Sharing for Campaigns:

For the purpose of running advertising campaigns, limited user data may be shared with these services. No sensitive personal information will be shared without explicit consent from the user.

The Service Provider ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), where relevant.

Updates and Termination

The Service Provider may wish to update the Platform at any time. The Platform is available for your current operating system, and any future changes to your device or its operating system may require an update to the Platform for continued use. The Service Provider cannot guarantee that the Platform will always be relevant to your device or operating system.

By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to accept updates when they are provided. The Service Provider may also decide to stop providing the Platform and may terminate its availability without prior notice. Upon termination, (a) the rights and licenses granted to you will cease, and (b) you must stop using the Platform and delete it from your device if necessary.

Liability Disclaimer

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. The Service Provider does not guarantee the uninterrupted availability of the Platform or that it will be free of errors or issues. The Service Provider is not responsible for any losses or damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Platform, including but not limited to device malfunctions, data loss, or third-party service interruptions.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

The Service Provider reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes to these Terms will be posted on this page, and you are encouraged to review them periodically. Continued use of the Platform after any changes signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
